You are from outside EUROPE (EU/EEA)
The borders of Norway are temporarily closed for all tourists from the rest of the world (outside Europe), but will open soon. The Norwegian government has decided that first tourists from Europe (EU/EEA countries) will be allowed to enter Norway (from 5 July 2021) and after that travellers from the rest of the world. We expect that tourists from selected countries from the rest of the world can enter after the 5th of July. We do not know which countries that are, but it will be published by the government before the 5th of July. There might be some restrictions (depending on where you are from and what the situation is in your country). All our trips and courses have a re-booking guarantee free of cost (this means you can change your trip to a new date without fees). Subscribe to our newsletter, and we keep you updated about the reopening of the Norwegian borders.
WHAT DO I NEED TO ENTER NORWAY?
The borders of Norway are temporarily closed now tourists from outside Europe (EU/EEA). Including the UK and the USA. The borders reopen from 5 July 2021 for EU/EEA countries, the UK and selected other countries where the Covid-situation is in control. We do not know yet which countries, but we expect the USA is included. We update you as soon there is more information available. For the Europe and the UK see the EU/EEA page.
DO I HAVE TO GO IN QUARANTINE?
After the reopening we expect that with a vaccination document, you won't have to go into quarantine. We are expecting more details about that subject from the Norwegian government soon.
WHEN IS THE NEXT UPDATE?
We expect the next update from the Norwegian government on 25 June 2021. We will publish updates on this webpage as soon as information is available.
