You are from outside EUROPE (EU/EEA)

Updated 26 January 2022
From 26 January 2022 tourists from outside Europe can enter Norway as the rules are back to how they were prior to the coronavirus pandemic. Everyone who has a valid visitor’s visa, or who is entitled to visit Norway without a visitor’s visa, can enter Norway now. You need to carry a negative PCR-test (not older than 24 hours prior your first flight to Norway), you have to register on-line before arrival (take a print to proof with you) and do a (fast) test in the airport of Oslo or any other international airport (or border). The test is usual free of costs. If the test result is positive you have to go into quarantine in a hotel.

FAQ

WHAT DOES A QUARANTINE HOTEL COSTS?
In case you are tested positive at border control you have to go into quarantine. The costs to stay in a quarantine hotel are 500 NOK/50 EUR including food per night.
WHERE CAN I DO THE ENTRY REGISTRATION?
This is the link for registration. Take a print for border control with you!
CAN I BOOK TRAVELS OR COURSES NOW?
You can book any course or travel that you want. All our trips and courses have a re-booking guarantee free of cost (this means you can change your trip to a new date without costs). Safe and no worries! Choose a month and check our travel program.
WHAT IS A RE-BOOKING GUARANTEE?
Re-booking is postponing your trip to a later date due to a COVID related issue like: you are infected, a family member is sick or you cannot leave your country or enter Norway. Re-booking is free of cost and hassle. You can re-book to any date one year ahead (and in some cases more).  You do not have to choose a new date immediately after cancellation.
IS NORWAY SAFE TO TRAVEL?
Norway is a safe place for traveling and the country is huge and has a small amount of inhabitants (a bit more than 5 million). Most people live in the south. Norway has not had huge numbers of infections, thanks to strict measurements, travel restrictions and closed borders.
WHERE CAN I FIND RESOURCES OF THE NORWEGIAN GOVERNMENT?
Here are the official pages:
NIPH, Norwegian Institute of Public Health
UDI, Immigration office (Norwegian Directorate of immigration)
Helsenorge (Norwegian Directorate of Health)
Regjeringen.no (Norwegian Government)

WHERE CAN I FIND INFORMATION FOR EUROPEAN RESIDENTS?
