The STEPS (TAKE SOME TIME TO READ)
STEP 1. SELECT YOUR TRIP OR COURSE
Select a trip, expedition or course that suits your wishes, ambitions and dreams. If you have questions about which one to join or have other question (like availability or for instance the best month to travel), then contact us first and ask for advice. If you want to join more than one trip contact us so we can check if a discount on the costs of participation is possible..
STEP 2. READ OUR GENERAL TERMS
If you are ready to make a booking then the next step is to read our general terms closely. It tells you all about the process of booking, payments, insurances, cancellation, the way we will communicate with you after your booking and much more. Contact us first you have questions or if you do not understand all. We like to help you. The general terms you can read by hitting the orange button below. It is easy to understand!
STEP 3. COMPLETE THE BOOKING FORM ON THIS PAGE
Okay, you know now which trip or course you like to book and you have read the general terms. You can now complete the booking form on this page to make a booking. You can book for a group of 6 people max on each trip or course. Press the submit button when you are finished and your booking is on our way to us. Note that if you book also for other people, you will receive the invoice, booking confirmation and all info for all the participants. If you like a separate invoices and booking confirmation for all the participants, then provide us the email addresses of the other participants in the remark field on the form, and we will take care of that. No problem.
STEP 4. WE PROCESS YOUR BOOKING AND CONFIRM
After you have pressed the submit button on the booking form, you will see a message that we have received your booking. We will inform you within 24 hours (but most of the time sooner) by email about the availability of the trip or course that you have chosen. If we have to discuss things with you before we confirm your booking, we will contact you by email (or phone if necessary). If your trip or course is available and we do not have any questions you will receive a booking confirmation by email with all the details, useful travel information, an invoice and a packing list within 24 hours. Once we have sent you the booking confirmation your place on the chosen trip is a fact, and you can start preparing and book your flights. The booking confirmation is the legal agreement between Dutchexplorers.com and you. Dutchexplorers.com is obligated to deliver the trip or course, and from that moment, you are obligated to pay the costs. Also, from the moment, we have sent you the booking confirmation cancellation rules (fees) apply. You can read more details about cancellation fees in the general terms.
STEP 5. MAKE YOUR PAYMENT
Once you have received our booking confirmation your trip or course is a fact and you have to pay the costs of the trip or course. Together with the booking confirmation we have sent you the invoice. You have to pay the amount of this invoice within 7 days (or prior to departure if you book less than 7 days before the trip starts). If you have any problems with (international) money transfers contact us and we are happy to help you with that.
STEP 6. YOU CAN START WITH PREPERATIONS
You now can start with your preparations. If you have any questions about clothing and equipment that are on the packing list just contact us and we are happy to assist you. You can also rent some equipment from us in case you do not want to invest.
STEP 7. WE KEEP YOU UPDATED AND PREPARED
We will stay in touch with you after you received our booking confirmation. A couple of weeks before your arrival in the Arctic we sent you a checklist and you can check your preparations. In the week before departure you receive an email (briefing) with the latest news, information about your transfer to the place where the trip starts and other useful information.
