We will do multi-day backpacking and sleeping in tents in valleys and high in the mountains. The destination is absolute off-the-beaten-track and offers great views of the fjords and typical Norwegian scenery. Introduction dives! The mountains that shape the famous fjords often not emerge from sea-level. Underneath the surface the mountainous landscapes continues. For people that like to do the first dive of their lives, we organise introduction dives in northern Norway. After a short theoretical class we take you to the often crystal-clear under water world of Norway. Your first dive is not gonna be very deep and your instructor is taking care of you. On your first dive you will probably see all kinds of fish, colourful anemones, crabs, sea-urchins and shells. Is this a step to deep for you, then go snorkelling with us! "When is the best time to pick berries in Norway", is a question that we often get. The answer is August and most of them are easy to find. Also the second half of July is a pretty good time but for some kinds it might be too early. The amounts are massive. So here is what you can find during one of our trips in northern Norway. Cloudberries (see picture), Arctic blueberries (one of the most common), loganberries, wild strawberries (small and sweet), raspberries, cranberries, redcurrants and blackcurrants. In Norway berries are also often eaten with traditional meat or fish dishes. Join us and let us hunt these small delicates.
