"When is the best time to pick berries in Norway", is a question that we often get. The answer is August and most of them are easy to find. Also the second half of July is a pretty good time but for some kinds it might be too early. The amounts are massive. So here is what you can find during one of our trips in northern Norway. Cloudberries (see picture), Arctic blueberries (one of the most common), lingonberries, wild strawberries (small and sweet), raspberries, cranberries, redcurrants and blackcurrants. In Norway berries are also often eaten with traditional meat or fish dishes. Join us and let us hunt these small delicateses.
